We are happy to welcome Emma Blaylock to the team at TheraSport Physical Therapy as a physical therapy aide. Emma is a native of Reidsville, North Carolina. She recently graduated from Guilford College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine and Health Science.
Emma was first introduced to TheraSport as a patient, then as an undergraduate intern. She is currently applying to graduate school to study physical therapy, and is enjoying learning more about the field in her current role.
I broke my ankle playing soccer in the 8th grade and received physical therapy at TheraSport. I met [the staff] and fell in love with all of them. I enjoyed working with them, and decided right then that I wanted to become a physical therapist. As an undergraduate student, I returned to TheraSport as an intern. Since returning as an employee, TheraSport has just assured me that physical therapy is the field I want to continue working in. I am definitely a people person, so I enjoy talking with the patients. However, working with Amy and Diana has been such a learning experience for me. I respected them when I was a patient and appreciate them even more knowing exactly what is involved in caring for our patients.
