Many insurance companies provide coverage for physical therapy and occupational therapy. However, the degree of coverage may vary greatly depending on the terms of your individual insurance plan. Prior to your first appointment, we suggest that you contact your insurance company to determine your level of coverage, as well as your deductible, co-insurance, or co-pay requirements.
We participate with the insurance companies listed below. However, we do not participate with every plan that an insurance company offers. For instance, for some insurance companies, we may only participate with plans offered by certain employers. For other insurance companies, we may only participate with medical services, or with workman’s compensation services. If we participate with your insurance company, but not with your plan, then you will be responsible for additional deductible, co-insurance and co-pay requirements associated with your out-of-network benefits.
We strongly encourage you to contact your insurance company prior to starting services to confirm if we are “in network” with your insurance plan. If you are unsure of how to do this, we are happy to help: Just contact the location of your choice, and provide your full name, date of birth, insurance group number, insurance identification number, and the phone number to call.
Insurance Payment and Account Balance
Our services are rendered and charged to you, not your insurance company. We file insurance as a courtesy to our patients. After we have received your insurance payment, you will receive a statement with your personal account personal balance. If you have a question about your account balance, please contact our billing staff at (434) 836-4158.
Payment plans are available, and must be established with the Administrator or Clinical Director prior to starting treatment. To inquire about a payment plan, please contact the location of your choice.
