For the Caplans, physical therapy has become something of a family activity. Dr. and Mrs. Caplan are both past patients at Danville Orthopedic & Athletic Rehab, and now their son Asher is receiving physical therapy services at DOAR Central. Below, Asher describes his experiences with bilateral multidirectional instability and physical therapy:
I can move both arms in multiple directions and my shoulders pop out. It happened for a while, but I didn’t think it was serious until it started hurting. My doctor sent me to physical therapy to try to strengthen my shoulders, and hopefully get better. Physical therapy has really helped my shoulder. It’s been hard, but it’s worth it!
Thank you to the whole Caplan family for sharing your story with us!
