Faye is a past patient at Martinsville Physical Therapy who worked with Mike McClellan, MPT, and Tim Armstrong, PTA. Faye came to physical therapy with hip/thigh and shoulder pain. She wanted to increase her strength and range of motion. Here is Faye’s story, in her own words:
“My primary care doctor wanted me to do therapy so I could move better. I definitely move a lot better now. I will always have pain, but with physical therapy, it is more manageable, and I am looser. I’m able to bend down to put lotion on my feet now. That’s a big deal for me.”
Faye is also a big fan of the Alumni Program, which she is a part of. She describes the benefits of participating in the program:
“I have the incentive to keep going versus giving up. That’s why I love the Alumni program here. If I stay at home, I won’t do [the exercises], but [with the Alumni Program], I have the opportunity to keep doing it.”
Faye met her physical therapy goals and is able to perform her activities of daily living. She is also able to function better and has returned to her normal lifestyle. Way to go, Faye!
