Amy is a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at DOAR South Boston. She is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia and the State of North Carolina to provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
A native of South Boston, Amy worked as a physical therapy aide at Halifax Regional Health System before attending the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, Virginia. Prior to joining the team at Danville Orthopedic & Athletic Rehab in 2007, Amy gained experience in a variety of settings ranging from outpatient facilities to nursing homes and assisted living facilities to hospitals and home health.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys traveling, dancing, and outdoor activities.
